Participation as a deputy, in Strasbourg, experiencing EU decision making in the form of a multilingual European Youth Parliament. The activity consisted in getting together, debating, amending, voting and finally adopting resolutions on real European issues.

JUNITEC in one of 365 Junior Enterprises in Europe and the oldest in Portugal. A Junior Enterprise (JE) is a non-profit organization, formed and managed exclusively by university students, which provides services for companies, institutions, and individuals. Following the motto "learning-by-doing", JEs promote the entrepeneur spirit, bridging the gap between academia and real business world. As a Project Manager of one major project of the technical department of JUNITEC, my tasks included: coordination of a team and contact with the client, strategic advisory and events and workshops organization, including Tecstorm'18.
Attendance as a representative of a JUNITEC, collaborating with BNP Paribas. Promoter of BNP Paribas programs and opportunities. Dissemination of the Junior Enterprise concept, as well as making key partnerships for the organization and coming events.
Executive Board member of Junior Enterprises Portugal - the Portuguese Confederation of Junior Enterprises - an umbrella organization which promotes entrepreneurship in portuguese universities by providing training and essential resources to create and support enterprises formed by students. Portugal is one of the 15 countries in Europe that shares the Junior Enterprise concept. As Secretary General, my main tasks included: advisory, audit and follow-up of 14 Junior Enterprises; event organization (7 events, up to 170 participants); management of the alumni network (more than 100 alumni); updating and promoting the IT platforms (website, blog, etc).
A 7-day intensive course in Paris, organizated by ATHENS Network. The programme known as the ATHENS week includes a wide range of courses in engineering as well as a number of cultural activities in each country. In this course, I was able to learn and practise the fundamentals and frameworks of machine learning and to network with students from other European institutions.

Data tech lead of an initiative to establish a Data Mart infrastructure for Salesforce synchronization at one of Portugal's top 3 banks. Implementation of the data migration solution for an international insurance group. Developed a data migration tool for transitioning to a Mambu core banking system.
In a world filled with screens and constant stimulation, there's nothing quite like the sensation of unplugging (quite literally) and immersing myself in the pages of a captivating book, especially when I'm surrounded by the tranquility of nature.
Once I read: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic". I feel this way since I was a little boy trying to figure out what this magic world is made of. I still don't know the answer, but I like to think I'm getting a little bit closer every day.
I always loved sports, not as a spectator, but as an active player. I have played football for about 10 years (where I was team captain) and have swam for 6 years. Nowadays, my main physical activity is working out at a gym. However, I still manage to organize a weekly football game with my friends.
